In 2018, a transformative movement began to take shape with a clear and urgent goal: to inspire young people to break free from the dependency on single-use plastics. This movement, known as #GakPakePlastik<\/b>, was born out of the growing concern over the detrimental impact of plastic waste on our planet. Single-use plastics, with their fleeting utility and permanent consequences, have long been one of the most persistent threats to ecosystems, choking waterways, polluting landscapes, and endangering wildlife.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our team behind\u00a0#GakPakePlastik<\/b>\u00a0recognized that real change would only come by influencing habits and mindsets. They saw the potential in youth\u2014energetic, driven, and aware\u2014to lead a lifestyle shift that could ripple across communities. With this in mind, the project set out to build not only awareness but also practical solutions. Partnering with local MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises),\u00a0#GakPakePlastik<\/b>\u00a0developed and sold hundreds of eco-friendly, reusable products, encouraging sustainable use and offering alternatives that aligned with the values of environmental stewardship.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The project\u2019s momentum grew as it engaged audiences through webinars and social media campaigns, particularly under the banner of <\/span>#Sa(B)Tu Bumi.<\/b>\u00a0These initiatives tackled pressing issues like climate change and environmental preservation, emphasizing the role of youth as catalysts for positive change. Interactive discussions and online advocacy provided a platform for knowledge-sharing and action-oriented dialogue, weaving environmental consciousness into the fabric of everyday life.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
